Colleges and universities in Massachusetts say they’re not being notified by the federal government about visa revocations associated with their student populations.Instead, they’re coming upon them on their own via proactive checks of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Student and Exchange Visitor Information System database, referred to in short as SEVIS.
