Six arrested in murder investigation after man dies in house, police say
A 44-year-old man is charged with murder and five others with assisting an offender after a stabbing death inside a Leicester home, police said.
- On Sunday a man in his 30s was found with a stab wound and pronounced dead inside a house on Sawley Street, Leicester, police said.
- East Midlands Ambulance Service called officers to the Sawley Street, Leicester property at 1.37am after reporting an injured man inside, the force said.
- Leicestershire Police confirmed six men remain in custody, including a 44-year-old man held on suspicion of murder and five men aged between 24 and 53 held for assisting an offender.
