GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – A sinkhole has shut down a Goose Creek roadway. The sinkhole was reported Friday at Old Mount Holly Road and Old Moncks Corner Road. The intersection has been closed to traffic. City officials said the South Carolina Department of Transportation has been advised about the problem so repairs can be made. Berkeley County officials said people should expect a “lengthy closure” due to the washout.
