Single-vehicle collision on La. 114 claims life of Bunkie girl

AVOYELLES PARISH, La. (WNTZ) - A 16-year-old Bunkie girl died Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Avoyelles Parish, authorities said. State Police said the incident happened on La. 114 west of La. 1185 around 3:30 p.m. when a 2006 Ford Escape, driven by another 16-year-old, left the roadway and struck several trees.
