The California Highway Patrol Saturday activated a Silver Alert to help the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department locate an 80-year-old man believed to have driven away from La Mirada. Chieng Liang was last seen about 11 a.m. Saturday driving his white 2008 Mazda CX-7 SUV from Excelsior Drive and Escalona Road, according to the CHP.
