Several crosswalk buttons in three California cities have been disabled after they were tampered with to play hoax audio clips claiming to be Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.

In Silicon Valley, unknown traffic lights have been manipulated in such a way that they speak with the voices of the tech billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. What could be heard there, however, should not please them.

In Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Redwood City, a dozen traffic lights have been hacked to reproduce the voices of the two entrepreneurs closest to the Trump administration: “It's normal to feel uncomfortable or even violated when we insert AI into every aspect of your conscious experience.”
