SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. (WDEF) – Today around 2:00 p.m. the Signal Mountain Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire on Georgia Avenue. According to the fire department, the brush fire happened when a homeowner was using an outdoor fire pit and shifting winds caused the surrounding grass to ignite.
