Lina Robles Yesterday, just as the school day was ending, police received a call reporting that someone had called Cathedral City Elementary School and threatened to start a shooting. They immediately placed the school on lockdown, as well as two other nearby schools located a short distance away on Date Palm and Gerald Ford Streets.
