In Bagalgunte, 43 grams of gold ornaments and Rs 1.33 lakh cash were stolen from the house of Geetha on the pretext of a puja. Her daughter had gone to Swamiji for help due to a rift in her family. It is said that on the pretext of performing puja, Swamiji made the woman faint and snatched the gold and cash and fled. A case has been registered in this regard at Bagalgunte police station.
