BIZ DESK Domestic markets closed on a strong note on Friday, with the Nifty regaining the psychologically important 26,000 level. Optimism about global liquidity increased after the US Federal Reserve's 25 basis point rate cut, which was reflected in the rally in the Indian markets. Nifty rose 148.40 points (0.57%) to 26,046.95, while the Sensex gained 449.53 points (0.53%) to 85,267.
