Sexual violence in the Church: the African taboo

More than three years after the presentation of the Sauvé report, the results are mixed for the Church, gathered in the High Pyrénées from Tuesday 1st April for a stage point. Despite notable efforts, the institution faces many blind spots in its fight against abuse.

In the presence of nearly 300 participants, including victims, committed lay people and bishops, the French episcopate organized a special session on Monday 31 March and Tuesday 1 April on measures to combat sexual violence in the Church.
