TUJUNGA, LOS ANGELES, JUL 25 – Authorities arrested multiple suspects in a coordinated raid linked to an alleged TikTok pastor facing charges including sex trafficking and fraud, officials said.
- On Friday morning, a sex trafficking warrant was executed at the home co-owned by alleged 'TikTok Dance Cult' pastor Robert Israel Shinn, located in the 7700 block of McGroarty Street in Tujunga.
- The warrant targeted alleged sex trafficking, tax evasion, mail fraud and money laundering and also covers COVID-19 pandemic-related fraud, while Robert Israel Shinn has denied all wrongdoing connected to his operations.
- No shots were fired and no one was injured during the warrant execution, authorities said.
- The U.S. Postal Inspection Service said, `The investigation remains active and ongoing.` said the U.S. Postal Inspection Service spokesperson, and it remains unclear if anyone was arrested or if Shinn was present when law enforcement arrived.
- Shinn, his Shekinah Church and 7M Films are subjects of Netflix's 2024 documentary Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult, in which former members describe him as an abusive cult leader.
