A truck with a trailer transporting pigs overturned on Sunday on county road 82 in Andøy municipality on Hinnøya in Vesterålen.
Several pigs had to be euthanized on the spot after the trailer transporting the animals overturned.
The road was closed for a long time at the scene, but one lane has now been reopened. There were reportedly 117 pigs in the transport, one of which died and several have been euthanized.
