Since early Saturday morning, August 2nd, traffic jams have been recorded for up to seven kilometers on the AP-8 highway in Irun due to the large influx of cars during this second "Operation Exit" of the holidays. The situation remains very complicated at the Biriatu toll booth in the direction of Gipuzkoa, where vehicles from northern Europe are congesting on their way to the peninsula.
