7 Palestine Action Activists Face Terror Charges Over Trump Golf Course Protest

Seven protesters accused of damaging President Donald Trump's Turnberry golf resort in Scotland last year could face longer sentences if prosecutors establish a "terrorist connection" to the incident.
On March 8, 2025, activists from Palestine Action spray-painted "Free Gaza" and "Free Palestine" slogans, dug up turf, and damaged greens at the 800-acre resort in response to the administration's plan.
The indictment revealed prosecutors will seek to establish a "terror connection" to enable terror sentences, despite the seven defendants not being charged with any terror offences.
On Wednesday, the White House designated Palestine Action a terrorist group, following the British Government's proscription of the organization last year for promoting "unlawful violence."
The seven accused will make their first appearance in court on Monday, while Palestine Action co-founder Huda Ammori continues her Supreme Court challenge against the British Government's proscription.
