Dam failure warning issued for Echunga, South Australia
South Australia's State Emergency Service has issued a dam failure emergency warning message for Echunga, south-east of Adelaide. The dam is failing after an SES spokesperson confirmed the walls on one side were sagging. All roads into Echunga have been closed while personnel work to fix the dam. SES South Australia in a tweet has warned residents in the area to prepare for flooding and relocate if it is safe to do so.
