Rick Riordan and Angela Robinson are adapting the trilogy as Disney+ expands its mythology slate and builds on its Percy Jackson franchise.
- Disney+ is developing a live-action series adaptation of The Kane Chronicles, Rick Riordan's Egyptian mythology trilogy, with Angela Robinson writing and executive producing alongside Riordan.

- The story follows estranged siblings Carter and Sadie Kane, descendants of pharaohs Narmer and Ramses the Great, who must master inherited magic to rescue their father, Egyptologist Julius Kane.
- Executive producers include Rebecca Riordan, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, and Jeremy Bell of The Gotham Group; Robinson is also known for How to Get Away With Murder and Wednesday.
- If ordered to series, this project would join Percy Jackson on Disney+, though the show remains in early development with no casting or premiere date announced.
