Sen. John Albers Applauds House Passage of Organ Donor Legislation

Last week, Senate Bills 84 and 58 passed through the House with unanimous support. These measures, sponsored by Sen. John Albers (R–Roswell), support organ donation in Georgia.SB 58, the “Georgia Transporting Life-Saving Organs and Personnel Act,” will grant emergency organ transport vehicles the same abilities as ambulance services. SB 84 creates a special license plate recognizing the importance of organ donation.
