Lebanon is exhausted by the wars of others, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Tom Fletcher said at a UN Security Council meeting today, noting that several hundred people have been killed in Israeli attacks in Lebanon since March 2. The meeting was convened by France, and most speakers called for the urgent disarmament of the Hezbollah movement.
