Second Phase of a Subsidence Study in Westville Begins
The second phase of the subsidence study is underway in the Town of Westville. Students with the Canadian Centre of Geodetic Engineering – based out of the University of New Brunswick – are placing sensors around the town to measure levels of ground subsidence this summer. The data gathered will help produce a map of which areas in Westville would not be suitable for development due to current levels of subsidence or high risk of subsidence
