Following an investigation initiated on the basis of a field inspection carried out by professionals of the Regional Directorate of the Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels (SEC) of Los Ríos, the agency sanctioned the distribution company Saesa with a fine of 900 Monthly Tax Units, UTM, equivalent to $64,484,100, after proving deficiencies in the maintenance of its electrical facilities in various sectors of the Valdivia coast.
