TOKYO, Dec 18: The Kairos-2 spacecraft of Space One maker, a private Japanese space company, successfully launched from the Spaceport Keiye private launch site in Wakayama Prefecture on Wednesday. The 59-foot-tall, 23-ton Kairos spacecraft carried five small satellites that were to be launched about 310 kilometers (50 mi) after liftoff, according to a broadcast here.
