Hunt County Sheriff's Office warns of phone scam

Hunt County Sheriff ’s office this week issued an alert to make residents of Hunt and surrounding counties of an ongoing phone scam being perpetrate. Officials reported they've again received information of an individual posing as a sheriff ’s deputy or investigator is attempting to extort money from citizens.
