- The Cure SMA India Foundation filed criminal cases following the November 14, 2024, episode of Got Latent, which featured remarks the NGO alleged ridiculed individuals with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and its treatment costs.
- Raina and the others organized a chess tournament in Pune and scheduled four fundraising shows, raising Rs 12.5 crore for persons with disabilities. The Bench noted constructive conversations occurred between the comedians and the petitioner NGO.
- The Bench praised their efforts, stating, "Once there are genuine efforts positive results are bound to be there. They are very bright youngsters." The Court also appreciated constructive conversations between the comedians and the petitioner NGO.
- While proceedings against the five comedians are closed, the Court will continue examining broader online content regulation guidelines based on recommendations from persons with disabilities. Ranveer Allahabadia's separate plea remains pending before the Court.
