The SPD and CDU were still unable to decide on a budget. Negotiations seem to be difficult. Social organisations see thousands of jobs threatened if there is no early agreement.
As of: June 6, 2025, 7:47 a.m. On June 26, the Saxon state parliament will decide on the budget for 2025 and 2026. It remains uncertain how the minority coalition of the CDU and SPD will accomplish this, as they need the opposition. The CDU and SPD only have 51 of the 120 votes in the Saxon state parliament.
