The retail chain Lidl Lietuva purchased the plots in Šilainiai, Kaunas, where a new store was opened at the end of the summer, from a company controlled by Autokausta shareholders and Šarūnas Matijošaitis, director of Vičiūnai Group and member of Kaunas City Council. The latter purchased the plots for EUR 46,000 and EUR 406,000, and sold them to the retailer less than a year later for EUR 3.4 million.
