SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, JUL 17 – Authorities search for four suspects after a stolen Camaro collided with a shuttle bus, killing two adults and injuring 18 people, including children, officials said.
- On Interstate 35 at Leon Creek near Cassin Road, a stolen white Camaro on I-35 at Leon Creek near Cassin Road crashed into a transport bus, killing two and injuring eighteen.
- Police Chief William McManus said the Camaro was stolen and speeding on I-35, and that four suspects fled the scene, including one armed with an AK-style rifle.
- As of Thursday evening, University Hospital treated 15 patients, including two who later died, and four pediatric patients are in good condition while at least two remained critical.
- Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes until the scene is cleared, as I-35 at Leon Creek remains closed and southbound lanes stayed shut for hours.
