- Two weeks earlier, students participated in a school-sanctioned walkout carrying anti-ICE posters with messages including "FUCK ICE" and "ICE is KKK spelled differently," facing no disciplinary consequences.
- FIRE Supervising Senior Attorney Conor Fitzpatrick stated, "School administrators can't pick and choose which opinions students are allowed to express." Principal Rob Coppo resigned earlier this month following backlash.
