On Wednesday, the INDEC disseminated the surveys of supermarkets, wholesalers and shopping centers of July: the big chains sold 2.1% less, accumulated 2.7% of the decrease in the year and reduced their establishment to 95,383 employees. The shoppings grew 1.9% and Patagonia recorded the highest nominal rise in the country, 30.8%.

According to the latest INDEC report, 25.9% paid for their supermarket purchases with a debit card, 16.6% in cash and 15.6% with other means, whose use grew 63.8% year-on-year. The average ticket was $34,981.
