Safety violations on Dhurandhar 2 set? Here’s why BMC wants to blacklist Aditya Dhar’s production house
- On Monday, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation A Ward wrote to the Deputy Municipal Commissioner Zone I recommending that B62 Studios and two applicants be blacklisted.
- Earlier this month, officials flagged repeated safety violations on the Dhurandhar 2 film set on February 7 and 8, and despite assurances, Mumbai Police seized five lit torches during a late-night shoot on February 14.
- The A Ward letter requested forfeiture of the Rs 25,000 deposit, a ₹1 lakh fine for rooftop filming and unapproved generator vans, and barred Komal Pokhriyal, Nasir Khan, and B62 production house from applying for permits.
- Officials say no final action has yet been taken and notices to the three applicants will be issued on Tuesday, copies going to the Maharashtra film cell and BMC's Business Cell head.
- With a March 19, 2026 release slated, Dhurandhar: The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal, adding pressure to resolve issues.
