Rocky Mountain National Park visitors to implement saturation patrols and safety checkpoint over holiday weekend
Rocky Mountain National Park announced in a news release that park rangers will be increasing law enforcement patrols and will be conducting a safety checkpoint starting Saturday, July 5, within the park. Additionally, Colorado State Patrol and the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting saturation patrols outside the park as part of a coordinated effort between agencies to support public safety during the holiday weekend.

Motorists in and around Rocky Mountain National Park are advised to be on the lookout for “safety checkpoints” this weekend, according a park news release. Park rangers will increase law enforcement patrols beginning on Saturday.
