Sad farewell to Cyprus Veteran Alim Demirci in Sivas

Passed away in Sivas Suşehri, 72-year-old Cyprus Veteran Alim Demirci was sent off on his final journey with the Turkish flag. The district governor, mayor and the public attended the funeral ceremony. The hero of the 1974 Cyprus Operation was buried in Karşıyaka Cemetery. Remembered with loyalty and sadness, Demirci's legacy will live on with love for the country. Sivas bid farewell to its veteran with gratitude.
