- Sabalenka's form shines as she has yet to drop a set at the tournament, while 18-year-old rising player Iva Jovic has surged from 191 to 27 since last month.
- Sabalenka won 6-1, 7-6 while sealing her 20th straight Grand Slam tiebreak, said Sabalenka about 17th-seeded Canadian Victoria Mboko.
