Moscow. After reiterating its “firm support” for Venezuela, in the context of US threats to President Nicolás Maduro’s government, Russia yesterday – once again – rejected an attack against the Latin American country.
While tensions with the United States remain at a high point, and is expected by the arrival of the massive Gerald Ford aircraft carrier in the waters of the Caribbean Sea, Venezuela has begun to receive specific military weaponry sent by the Russian Federation to reinforce its lines, as confirmed by the governments of both countries.
Russia again warned against any military aggression against Venezuela, following Washington's threats to the Latin American country.
Saturday, November 8, 2025.- María Zajárova, spokesman for Russia's foreign policy, reaffirmed solidarity with Venezuela and called for a peaceful resolution of conflicts in the Caribbean, highlighting Russia's commitment to international law and stability in Latin America.
