The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today condemned Russia and ordered it to pay compensation for a series of measures against organizations linked to the late opposition leader Alexei Navalny, the French news agency AFP reports. The measures were, according to the ECHR, unfounded and aimed at destroying the political opposition.
