COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)- A former University of Colorado Colorado Springs student ran nearly as fast as a mountain lion in a half marathon on Sunday. On Sunday morning, runners from all over the world participated in the 3rd Annual Jersey City Half Marathon. According to a spokesperson for the event, the race brought runners from 46 states and 36 different countries. There were 5,865 participants in the half marathon this year.
