The United States and Paraguay have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for civilian nuclear technology cooperation. The Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, and Paraguay's Foreign Minister, Rubén Ramírez, signed a nuclear energy cooperation agreement in Washington on Tuesday. Both authorities signed the "Agreement 123", as these memorandums are known. The United States has signed similar agreements with more than 25 countries since 1954.
