Surfside Beach Memorial Day Celebration

Summary

Surfside Beach is hosting events to celebrate Memorial Day. Their annual Golf Cart Parade will take place Monday at 11am. You can dress up your cart in patriotic colors and prizes will be awarded to the most decorated participants. Candy will be thrown out to those in attendance. They will lineup on Dogwood North before turning onto 16th Avenue North, then Ocean Boulevard, before wrapping up at 16th Avenue South. Participants are encouraged to meet at Neal and Pams afterwards where Mayor Robert Krouse will announce the winners. Following that, a service will be held starting at 2pm to honor U.S. military personnel who died while in service.
