The Frenchman returned to 'touch the sky' after ten years of his first conquest in the category
The Vosgian rider won the World Motocross Championship in Australia on Sunday, September 21, 2025 in the MXGP's queen category. Romain Febvre finished fourth in the race in Bitche, Moselle, but in sufficient advance to win the title, and in turn enter into the legend of this sport alongside the greatest names of the discipline before him.

Due to heavy rain and water on the track, the organizers of the last round of the Motocross World Championship in Australia canceled the second round of the elite MXGP class. The results of the first round, won by Lucas Coenen, were valid, Slovenian rider Tim Gajser was third, and Frenchman Romain Febvre confirmed his world championship title with a fourth place.
With a fourth place in the first race of Darwin (Australia), the French Kawasaki factory driver Romain Febvre secured the MXGP World Championship title 2025. Lucas Coenen (KTM) won the race.
