Robbers swiped about $1,200 in equipment from N.J. sandlot, cops say
Thieves last month stole about $1,200 in equipment from a South Jersey lot used for unorganized wiffle ball, according to police. The sandlot between Main and Chestnut streets in Gloucester Township’s Glendora section lost its pitcher’s mound, its bases, two batting practice nets and an “L-shaped” net on June 26, police said Thursday.
