Rishi Sunak blames striking NHS workers for rising waiting lists
Today's PMQs session began with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak apologizing for the "horrific" treatment of LGBT armed forces veterans under a previous ban on homosexuality. The apology was welcomed by Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer and other MPs.
The independent review into the treatment of LGBT veterans, led by Lord Terence Etherton, published its findings. The report detailed the historic homophobia within the military and made 49 recommendations, including restoring medals and clarifying pension rights.
Statistics regarding child poverty were discussed during the session.
