Rip current statement active for 4 N.J. counties Thursday

On Wednesday at 3:58 p.m. a rip current statement was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Thursday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Monmouth, Cape May, Atlantic and Ocean counties.“Dangerous rip currents expected,” says the weather service. “A High Risk for dangerous and life threatening rip currents is also possible on Friday.”
