Río Cauca quadruples its normal flow and threatens coastal populations in Antioquia

Humanitarian care continues to be provided to families affected by the overflow of the Cauca River in the municipality of La Pintada.

The Cauca River has an alarming increase in its flow, reaching approximately 4,500 cubic meters per second, a value that quadruples its usual average of 1,000 m3/s, generating a red alert situation in several municipalities of Antioquia.
