Following a threatening tweet from MEP Rima Hassan, her colleague LR Francois-Xavier Bellamy has filed a complaint with the Paris prosecutor's office.
The La France Insoumise candidate targeted her right-wing colleague on social network X (formerly Twitter) with remarks deemed threatening by him. The MEP feels he has been designated "at the vengeance of Islamist circles".
This decision comes after a message posted on the networks by the Franco-Palestinian activist on Wednesday evening. She warned “François-Xavier Bellamy and his boyfriends, close to the Israeli genocidal regime.”
