Ribbon cut on revamp works

Ahead of Remembrance Sunday, Spalding's historic war memorial has been 'unveiled' after £210,000 worth of works. Designed by Sir Edward Lutyens, who was also the architect behind The Cenotaph in London, the 1922 built installation has been extensively cleaned and repaired. It was re-opened by Coun Henry Bingham, South Holland District Council's portfolio holder for 05/11/2025
