Antisemitism in Germany has been surging since the Hamas massacres of October 7. But the true threat to the Jewish community’s survival lies elsewhere.

Many Jews reject Israel's war against Palestine. Nevertheless, anti-Semitic violence has been rising rapidly since the beginning of the Gaza war – even in NRW.

Many Jewish people are again concerned about being opposed, discriminated against and attacked in Germany. A new report is documented: Anti-Semitism is once again acceptable. A snack from the Maximilian Passage in Bonn is also an issue in the report.

Nearly 400 documented incidents, 40 acts of violence – and a declining threshold: Jews were subjected to significantly more attacks last year than before.

RIAS counted 940 anti-Semitic incidents in NRW in 2024. Uncomplicated Jewish life is hardly possible.
