A Riga court sentenced Polina Kamleva, a Latvian citizen and pro-Russian activist, to six years of settlement for transferring 43 euros to the needs of the Russian army involved in the war in Ukraine, reports NEXTA.
The Riga City Court has found pro-Kremlin activist Polina Kamļova from Rēzekne guilty of financing an armed conflict. The judge sentenced the defendant to six years in prison, as well as probation supervision for three years after her release.
"I had no political or military goals. I have not transferred a single cent outside the borders of Latvia. Yes, I could have acted foolishly and been naive. I could have made a mistake."
