The French island of Réunion in lockdown under the threat of a historic cyclone

Reunion went into lockdown on Sunday before the arrival of tropical cyclone Belal, which could “mark the history” of the French island.

La Réunion se prépare au passage lundi de Belal, qui pourrait évoluer en cyclone dévastateur et "marquer l'histoire" de l'île française de l'océan Indien. La population est appelée à se confiner dès dimanche soir, et jusqu'à mardi matin en tout cas.
