Barcelona Unveils the Renovated Camp Nou with More than 22,000 Fans in Attendance
Barcelona held an open training at the refurbished Camp Nou with 23,000 fans as they await permits to host matches with increased capacity of 45,401 spectators.

- Barcelona only have a 25,991-person licence granted in October while awaiting a council permit for capped capacity 45,401, forcing early games at the 6,000-capacity Estadi Johan Cruyff and Olympic Stadium.
- Barcelona are aiming to return for the Nov. 22 LaLiga fixture against Athletic Club, and President Joan Laporta said the plan is Nov. 22 or Nov. 29, with Dec. 2 as a fallback.
- Work remains on the third tier and roof as construction continues, with the first two tiers largely finished and final completion expected in 2027 as capacity rises toward 105,000.
