A painting by the Venetian Renaissance painter Vittore Carpaccio arrived at the Piran Monastery Church of St. Francis this morning, having been returned from Padua after 85 years. As Guardian Father Janez Šamperl told STA, the return of the painting is a sign of good cooperation and a long, successfully completed 85-year journey.
